My great grandfather came to this country from Germany in the 1880's. His son, Christian Stegman, started the "Heritage" with the company, then known as Acorn Manufacturing, then Irvine and Jachens Sterling Silver Buckles.
Today we're known as Comstock Heritage. Some of our buckle designs have been designated as highly collectible and are highly prized by many collectors.
